Two for Tuesday

Posted on Updated on

Here are two quick tips for Tuesday…

1. When using power point, always stand to the left of the screen because people read left to right. It keeps you in the audience’s focus, even when they’re reading what’s on the screen.

2. When in power point you can black-out the screen by pressing the letter “B” key. This is very useful when handling Q&A or when you’d like to elaborate on an important point–it helps keep all eyes on you and can be a powerful break in the presentation. Think of it as a visual “pause”.
